We’re excited to announce a new partnership with SAL de IBIZA, the iconic “Cristal de la Vida” from Ibiza, to support projects that protect our marine environment.
“We are proud to join hands with the Ibiza Preservation Fund to protect and safeguard our favourite island for us and future generations to love and enjoy,” says Daniel C. Witte from SAL de IBIZA. “We all have the same passion to take care of Ibiza’s natural beauty and resources, and the time is now because tomorrow might be too late.”
Sandra Benbeniste from the IPF says, “We’re very happy to see companies like SAL de IBIZA take an active interest in preserving our environment. With its global brand recognition, SAL de IBIZA can help us spread the word on the urgent need to protect our marine resources especially the Posidonia seagrass meadows.”
Salt has been harvested in Ibiza for over 2700 years. Before tourism, salt was Ibiza’s most famous export. SAL de IBIZA wants to ensure salt from Ibiza remains a “world ambassador” to continue this tradition. We hope our collaboration will also highlight to the world the need to preserve our island’s precious natural resources.
A big THANK YOU to Nina Fitzgerald, our super volunteer, who arranged the introduction with SAL de IBIZA through her persuasive letters in German!
More information on our partnership will be provided soon – this is just a taste of what’s to come!
