Javier is the founder of ECOALF, a sustainable fashion brand made from recycled products. Through the ECOALF Foundation, specifically the Upcycling the Oceans project, it cleans the Mediterranean of garbage with the help of fishermen of the Levante. Collected materials are transformed into pellets, yarn, fabric and products. In 2017, ECOALF removed more than 250 tonnes from the bottom of the sea and operated in 70 ports with more than 3000 fishermen.
