Indicators

Our Sustainability Observatory project conducts an annual study of socio-environmental issues on Ibiza via a series of indicators.
Data is collected across nearly 70 indicators. These address key issues of sustainability, such as waste and water management, land use, sources of energy, air quality and carbon dioxide emissions etc.
Since 2019, the Observatory has focused on monitoring compliance with the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), where they are applicable to Ibiza. In 2021, our team analysed data with reference to 11 out of the 17 SDGs.
Please click on the individual icons below to access the executive summaries and full data sets corresponding to each Sustainable Development Goal – or download the full report via the button. Previous years’ reports can be found here.
The Ibiza 2021 Sustainability Report, carried out by IbizaPreservation’s Sustainability Observatory, has been financed entirely by the Consell Insular d’Eivissa. The CIE is also subsidising the Observatory’s work on data collection for Ibiza within the framework of the 4 Islands 2021 Report.
